Who do you see first…a Realtor or a Mortgage Broker

Who should you see first, a Realtor or a Mortgage Broker? If you're planning on just browsing to see what homes are on the marktet, then contact a Realtor. If you are commited to purchasing a home, then you should really consider seeing a Mortgage Broker first.

Imagine this…You spend a month looking for a home and you finally found one. You have your Realtor make an offer for the home. The offer gets accepted…but you're not prequalified for the home.

You finally go to see a Mortgage Broker, only to find that you are not qualified for the offer you made.

You've just wasted a month of your time and probably expirienced a lot of stress due to the denial of your loan amonunt. Save yourself the stress, headaches and wasted time and go see a Mortgage Broker first. Besides, Mortgage Brokers usually work with Realtors anyways. So I'm sure they can refer you to a good one. Good Luck!
